We accept Ilustrator .eps files and Mac native files (listed below), .EPS files, Mac PDF files and PC PDF files can be accepted but are not preferred due to font and color issues.

FONTS ACCEPTED Adobe Type 1 Postscript fonts. Bitstream Type 1 Postscript fonts. We cannot guarantee successful output using any other font manufacturers.

DISKS ACCEPTED Zip, CD ROM. DVD Floppy is not recommended due to high failure rate.

NAMING CONVENTION The ad files must be named: Virgin Islands Daily News insertion order # followed by .eps. For example: 12345678.eps (.tiff, .pdf or .jpg as applicable)

AD SIZE The ad document must be built to the correct size.

COLOR SPACE CMYK only. No RGB, Pantone spot or DCS.

HARD COPY PRINTOUT All disks must include a B&W or Color proof as applicable

LABEL THE DISK Label the disk with advertiser name and return address. Send only one ad per disk

We recommend Adobe Ilustrator's .eps as our preferred file format

DISK ORGANIZATION All screen and printer fonts used in the ad should be placed into a folder labeled Fonts. All graphics and art used in the ad should be placed into a folder named Art. Send one ad per disk.
